A bodystocking is true to its name in that it is fitted hosiery which covers the entire body, from the shoulders to the feet.  This lingerie is similar to a leotard or a cat suit. It can be worn underneath clothes during winter or more-often-than-not as a sexy piece of lingerie.

Demi or Shelf Bra

A demi cup bra offers the perfect amount of "barely there" coverage for the petite to average woman's figure.  These bras offer less coverage than a full cup as they only  cover  approximately half to ? of the breast, however, if  the appearance of "spilling out" of a demi cup bra is achieved, it is probably the incorrect size.

Push-up Bra

A push-up bra lifts the breasts to create cleavage. These come with padding, giving the illusion of a larger, fuller chest.  They create the appearance of increased cleavage using angled cups (Which generally have underwires) and a variety of types of padding including graduated and cookies, and demi cups.

Underwire Bra

An underwire bra contains metal wires in the lower edges of the bra, giving extra, often-needed support for the bust. A thin, flexible wire, which offers added support to the cups of bras, bustiers and shapewear. Modern bras are constructed with comfortable underwires, which do not impeded the wearer.  These bras are great for women that have C cups or larger.

Bustier

A highly structured garment, which extends from bust to hip. Most bustiers have flexible boning throughout the body of the garment for additional shaping, and close at the back with a long row of hooks and eyes.  Additional features may include removable or convertible straps or garters.  Smooth bustiers are perfect under special occasion wear as they provide both shaping and uplift.

Camisole

A camisole, or cami, is a short, lingerie top, fitted around the bust, and ending at the waistline.  Camisoles come in any kind of fabric from mesh and lace to silk or leather.  Depending on how revealing the fabric, cami's can be worn as outerwear or just peaking out of an open jacket or blouse.

Charmeuse

Charmeuse (pronounced 'sharmaas') is a lightweight, satin-finished silk, which is soft and drapes beautifully.  It is perfect for lingerie, used in loose-fitting designs, like a babydoll or camisole.

However, it is important to treat it delicately because it can tear easily.

Corset

A Corset is boned and close-fitting lingerie that creates structure and control. By reducing the waist and exaggerating the bust and hips, the corset emphasizes a curvy figure.  Corsets begin either above or just below the bust and extend down to the waist or below the hips.  They compare in shape to the bustier, but are often strapless.

Hosiery or stockings are close-fitting, elastic garments that cover the feet and legs. Hosiery comes in various styles including silk, nylon, and fishnet.

Because the material is usually sheer, the legs are still visible, but appear silky, smooth and unblemished.

Garter Belts
